Gratings are self-supporting, differently loadable (e.g. walkable or drivable) panel-shaped floor coverings with many continuous openings, the so-called meshes.

Lichtgitter was founded in 1929 as a specialist company for the manufacturing of gratings. Today Lichtgitter is one of the world's leading manufacturers of gratings. We offer gratings in the well-known types forge welded gratings and pressure locked gratings in steel, stainless steel and aluminium, as well as gratings in the material GRP and combi products like gratings with on top welded chequer plates.
