Lichtgitter GmbH acquires Draht Müller GmbH & Co. KG in Dülmen
We are pleased to announce that we have been able to welcome Draht Müller GmbH & Co. KG from Dülmen as a new member of the Lichtgitter Group since August 23rd, 2021.
The company, founded in 1931, was owned by the Müller family for four generations and is specialized in industrial spot welded gratings for animal husbandry, cellar partitions, store construction and many other applications.
Hermann Stengel, one of the managing directors of Lichtgitter GmbH considers this step as an important milestone on the way to expand the market position of the Lichtgitter Group. "The inclusion of Draht Müller GmbH & Co. KG in our group is a strategically useful addition to our holdings in Germany and abroad. With Draht Müller as a new member of the Lichtgitter Group, our position as a full-range supplier in the logistic market segment will be further strengthened and expanded. We look forward to developing the site in Dülmen together with the employees and the management."
Draht Müller GmbH & Co. KG operates a few spot welding machines on its 8,000 square meter site in Dülmen. 72 employees recently generated a turnover of around € 11 million. Mr. Lutz Schürmann and Mr. Dirk Brütsch, who already holds a management position in the Lichtgitter Group, will bulid the management of Draht Müller.
