Moulded GRP-grating - concave
The concave garting type is origin of the moulded gratings. During the heating of the gratings a concave surface is formed on the surface of the bars. This results in a very good slip-resistance. This grating achieve the serration class R13.
GRP-gratings with a concave surface are used in areas where good chemical and weather resistance is required.

The gratings available from stock are manufactured on the basis of a high-quality isopthalic resin and are available in grey similar to RAL7035.

The chemical resistance of the grating is determined by the resin used. The following resin versions are possible:

For an opening angle of approx. 90° the hinges will be screwed flush with the top of the gratings. If bigger opening angles are requested the hinge has to be screwed higher than the top surface of the grating. This will mean that the hinges will protrude. The hinges are not accessible for car loads.
